The Bone Health Foundation, in conjunction with the ANZBMS, are pleased to announce we will be co funding grants again in 2025. Please use the form below to find out more or request an application form.

Health Innovation Grant, up to the value of $50,000 (up to 2 available)

Expression of interest open: Monday 14 April, 2025

Expression of interest close: 8pm Monday 2 June, 2025 (AEST)

The purpose of this grant is to deliver funding to test the feasibility of innovative concepts to improve musculoskeletal health. The scope of projects includes clinical, public health and/or health services (including clinical service delivery) or biomedical research that may lead to larger, more rigorous studies and/or nationally competitive grant funding.

2025 ANZBMS-BHF Grant-in-aid

1. ANZBMS-BHF Grant-in-aid - $25,000 (Up to 2 available).

The purpose of the Grant-in-aid is to support high quality unfunded bone and mineral-related applications. The purpose is to enable mid-career researchers who have been unsuccessful in a major research grant application to continue to generate data to strengthen their application to continue to generate data to strengthen their application and enhance their competitiveness in subsequent major grant rounds.

Applications close: 8pm Monday 30 June, 2025 (AEST)

The bone and mineral research community in Australia have a proven track record of producing internationally competitive research outcomes which have a meaningful impact on individuals with poor bone health.

Please note all grant applications are independently assessed by the ANZBMS and BHF Research Advisory Committee, who provide recommendations to the Foundation’s Board and ANZBMS Council. All grants are jointly funded by ANZBMS and BHF and will be administered wholly by the Bone Health Foundation.
