ANZBMS-BHF Grants
The Bone Health Foundation, in conjunction with the ANZBMS, are please to announce that we are calling for applications for bone related reaseach again in 2024
We will be offering a Health Innovation Grant, up to the value of $50,000 for a project up to 18 months in duration.
Applications open: Monday 15 July, 2024
Applications close: 8pm Friday 13 September, 2024 (AEST)
Successful applicant will be announced at the ANZBMS conference in Adelaide on Sunday 10 November, 2024.
The purpose of this grant is to deliver funding to test the feasibility of innovative concepts to improve musculoskeletal health. The scope of projects includes clinical, public health and/or health services (including clinical service delivery) or biomedical research that may lead to larger, more rigorous studies and/or nationally competitive grant funding.

The bone and mineral research community in Australia have a proven track record of producing internationally competitive research outcomes which have a meaningful impact on individuals with poor bone health.
Please note all grant applications are independently assessed by the ANZBMS and BHF Research Advisory Committee, who provide recommendations to the Foundation’s Board and ANZBMS Council about the most appropriate submissions to fund and to what extent. Funding can be at the level recommended by the peer reviewers or at an alternative level. All grants will be administered wholly by the Foundation.
