Kiana Elliott
Upper primary and middle school classes can arrange an information session with Olympic hopeful Kiana Elliott, which gives practical advice with regard to nutrition and exercise to build and maintain healthy bones.
Since age six, Kiana has tested her physicality, first as a gymnast, and now a professional weightlifter. At just 15-years-old, her determination led her to become the youngest person ever to win a silver medal at the weightlifting Junior World Championships in 2016. Come July, she hopes to perform at the pinnacle of the world sporting stage, the Tokyo Olympics.
Even as she enters an intense six month training period, Kiana says she is buoyed by the opportunity to motivate young South Australian’s to look after the bones and explore the abilities of their bodies with The Skeleton Crew.
